The team was in full pads twice last week, which meant more 11-on-11s and 1-on-1s between the linemen. Here's who I thought the best players were at each position, with honorable mentions for those that weren't far behind.
Here are my choices for the top performers from Week 2:
QB: JT Daniels -- seeing field well, making good decisions
TB: Markese Stepp -- hard to tackle, plays with swagger
WR: Amon-Ra St. Brown -- underrated after the catch, great focus
TE: Josh Falo -- catching everything thrown his way, go-to potential
OL: Jalen McKenzie -- athletic, has reformed his body
DL: Jay Tufele -- showing good burst, slimmer but just as strong
LB: John Houston -- more assertive, good range
CB: Isaac Taylor-Stuart -- pushing top receivers, active hands
S: Talanoa Hufanga -- natural playmaker, fearless
Newcomer of the week: DE Drake Jackson -- explosive, nimble
