I know a win is a win, and I am completely in agreement that is THE most important thing. But, style points truely do matter, and I am tired of hearing they don't.
Why? Because style points WILL DETERMINE THE QUALITY OF VENUE WHERE I GET TO GET DRUNK ON NEW YEARS MORNING.
I agree that if we keep winning things will LIKELY take care of themselves. But without looking good, despite winning, we could still be on the outside looking in... whether that's in getting a playoff spot versus a second tier bowl. Or, if we get some losses, whether that's getting a second tier NYD bowl versus being shipped to El Paso. THAT PLACE SUCKS!
Style points got us into the Rose Bowl last year, despite our record. Humans made that decision, because we were trending with style.
So yes, keep winning. Most important thing. But for god sake please give me a blowout, because I don't want to be tailgating in West Texas in a wind swept ice storm on New Years Day, again
