I've spoken to multiple sources I trust and all feel USC has a good chance to sign Rivals250 tailback Markese Stepp.
Most were hesitant to say that they believe USC is the leader but all were confident the Trojans could be the winner here at the end of the day.
One person I trust did say that he believes Stepp will eventually pick USC and was confident it would happen. Based on what I've heard from others, I'm not ready to run with that yet.
Stepp preps at Cathedral HS in Indianpolis. He was previously committed to Notre Dame from June of this year until December.
He plans to take an official visit to USC this weekend and has a long standing relationship with USC tailback coach Deland McCullough. McCullough is a long time friend of Stepp's family and played football with Stepp's father at Miami of Ohio.
