For USC to defeat UCLA, Cody Kessler will have to play a smart game and Coach Helton is going to have to stay true to the run game. On defense UCLA is going to play press coverage and the defensive line is going to come relentlessly to collapse the pocket. UCLA does not respect USC toughness and will bring it because they have to for respect. Cody will have to make quick reads and get the ball out to the open receiver. Coach cannot stretch run Horizontally against UCLA. He will have to challenge UCLA between the tackle all night to force the safeties up for play action.
