Bru McCoy, who we were told has been in Southern California, did not attend Texas' first summer conditioning workout this morning, per Jason Suchomel of OrangeBloods.com. He apparently was the only player not in attendance.
I've been told to expect McCoy in the transfer portal soon, perhaps today or later this week.
I also have noticed some reports on the matter mentioning McCoy had not told the Texas coaching staff as of this past weekend that he is transferring. With the transfer portal, a student-athlete no longer has to. Everything is done through compliance.
