I made an update to the story on Cary Angeline that I wrote earlier today with regards to the news that he'll be officially visiting Florida State this weekend -
As far as official visits go, Angeline talked with Clay Helton on Wednesday and he will be taking his official to USC in January. Also, Helton will be making a trip in January for an in-home visit to see Angeline.
"It's no secret, USC has been through a turbulent season with a lot of stuff going on. Now it sounds like they're redoing the coaching staff and everything. Cary is really looking forward to the visit. It'll probably be in January and that's what coach Tui originally wanted."
The elder Angeline confirmed that his son would be taking an official visit this weekend to Florida State, and might take an additional visit to a school that has yet to be decided.
"Cary wanted to make sure USC was still okay with taking another visit or two," he said. "Everything is fine."
