After abruptly leaving the program last August, former USC safety Ykili Ross has been hoping for months to work his way back onto the team. He initially entered the transfer portal last year but withdrew months ago. The redshirt junior also apologized to Clay Helton and his teammates for his actions last fall.
A report Wednesday suggested Ross would be rejoining the Trojans but I've been informed today that a decision has been made and the veteran DB will not be on the team again.
