Defense = 77 out of 130. Last year we were ranked 36th in the nation. Top ten in 2017 includes Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Auburn, Washington, Clemson, Wisconsin, Georgia.

Scoring Offense = 27 out of 130. Last year 36th. This with the potential #1 pick in the draft along with arguably one of our best top 3 tailbacks since Marcus Allen.

Clay definitely has to kick Clancy to the curb after this season. Clancy has 4 former 5 star recruits starting in Houston, Jones, Biggie and Green. Everyone else except Cameron Smith was a 4 star. There really isn't any excuse for USC not being in the top 20 in defense with our level of talent.

To win a title, and the title is always the goal at USC, you really need your offense and defense to be top 20. Question. Has Clay shown anything in his 2.5 years at the helm to make us believe that he will have our team at that level in 2018?
