It seemed a longshot that USC would be able to sway 5-star offensive guard Kardell Thomas' mindset this weekend, considering the Baton Rouge, La., prospect has been committed to hometown LSU since the summer of 2016.
But Thomas' official visit with the Trojans went so well that he said he wants to take the next couple days and consider his options before making a final decision.
