We were ahead 21 - 10 towards the end of the second quarter. After that point we were outscored 31 - 10. I find this almost unbelievable that a USC team can be outscored by that margin in a little more than 2 quarters. Even more disturbing is that this occurred towards the end of the game, not the beginning. Not on turnovers; not on kick or punt returns. We were pounded and outplayed on both sides of the ball. Just looking at the last 2+ quarters we got our a$$ kicked.
Stanford made both offensive and defensive adjustments; if we made adjustments they were not the right ones. Stanford could not do that against Northwestern and Central Florida. I know Northwestern and Central Florida do not have better athletes that we do so their coaching must be better. Again, I find it unbelievable these teams can have better coaches than a top tier football school like USC.
I was not a fan of Sark's hire but have tried to support him once he was hired. But this game really has me shaking my head. Now I think we need a change. I hope Sark and Company can show me something over the rest of the year to make me change my mind. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening.
