... I've heard on this board, and mentioned in the media, many times that this abbreviated season is an on the job interview. No, not really. This HAS BEEN an opportunity to show if he has leadership qualities, that young men will believe in him and follow. I think he has. What's missing are the key factors of any executive level interview, the ability to express a clear Vision and viable strategies for making that vision a reality, with an executable plan and tactics in staffing, recruiting, scheme, brand promotion, etc. that he could instill ONLY AFTER he is givin the control of the program. If we truely have any "insiders" on this site, I would like to know from them if they know Clay is a strategic thinker with a mission and core values that will lead to the realization of his larger Vision for the program, or just a rah rah coach with good X's and O's skills.
