The NFL draft is just 40 days away here is a compilation of where the Draft forecast magazines are placing our Trojans and our 2016 scheduled opponents. Not all payers who are good college players are interesting to the NFL but the stellar ones are. The names include (range of draft round forecasts, consensus round pick, and PAC12 honors if applicable). Early entrant players to the draft are designated by 2 asterisks **.

USC: QB Cody Kessler (Rd 7- FA, FA, Pac Honorable Mention) noted for his quick release. Soma Vainuku RB (Rd7-FA, 7, PAC 2nd- Special Teamer), Tre Madden RB (Rd 5-FA, 6). OC Max Tuerk (Rd 2-3, 2) noted for quickness. Greg Townsend DT(Rd 7-FA, FA). Antwaun Woods (Rd 6-7, 7, Pac1st).Delvon Simmons DT (Rd 7-FA, 7, PAC 2nd). **Sua Cravens' OLB/S (Rd 1-3, 1, PAC 1st) noted for intangibles. Kevon Seymour (Rd 7-FA, FA). Note that Madden , Tuerk and Seymour were out for long stretches of time.

Now here are our opponents listed by USC schedule. This is not all the starters but those that the NFL might draft. Shown by (range of draft forecasts, and consensus pick). Note particularly the higher draft picks Rds 1-3.

DE D J Pettway (Rd 5-7, 6). DT** A'Shawn Robinson (Rd 1, 1). DE/ DT Jarran Reed (Rd 1-2, 1) noted for Run D. ILB Reggie Ragland (Rd 1-2, 1) noted for Run D. CB Cyrus Jones (Rd 3-4, 4) Noted for run help. S Elijah Shumate (Rd 6-FA, 6). Lots of good high rated talent moving on.

Utah State:WR Hunter Sharp (Rd 2-7, 5). ILB Nick Vigil (Rd 5-6, 5). OLB Kyler Fackrell (Rd 1-4, 3).

at Stanford:QB Kevin Hogan (Rd 2-5, 3, Pac 2nd). WR/TE Devon Cajuste (Rd 4-5, 4). TE **Austin Hooper (Rd 2-5, 3, PAC1st) noted for route running. OT Kyle Murphy (Rd 1-5, 3, PAC 1st) Noted for quickness. OG Joshua Garnett (Rd 3-5, 3, PAC 1st) noted for Pulling. DE Aziz Shittu (Rd 4-7, 5, PAC1st). ILB Blake Martinez (Rd 3-6, 4, PAC1st). They dominated PAC All Conference teams and lose a lot of talent.

at Utah: RB Devontae Booker (Rd 2-4, 3, Pac2nd) Noted for Breaking tackles. DE Jason Fanaika (Rd 4-5, 4, Pac HM-honorable mention). ILB Jared Norris (Rd 5-6, 5, Pac2nd) Noted as a Blitzer. OLB Gionni Paul (Rd FA, Pac1st). P Tom Hackett (Rd 5-7, 6, Pac2nd).

ASU: WR Devin Lucien (Rd 7, 7). WR D. J. Foster (Rd 5-7, 6). OG Chris Westerman (Rd 3-5, 4) noted for Quickness.

Colorado: OT ** Stephane Nembot (Rd 5-7, 6).

at ArizonaWR **Cayleb Jones (Rd 3-6, 5). ILB**Scooby Wright (Rd 1-5, 3) one mag said he could disappoint.

Oregon:QB Vernon Adams (Rd 5-7, 6, Pac HM). WR**Bralon Addison (Rd 3-4, 4, Pac 2nd). OT Tyler Johnstone (Rd 5-7, 6, Pac 2nd). DE DeForest Buckner (Rd 1, 1, Pac 1st) noted for run D. OG**Isaac Seumalo (Rd 4-6, 6, Pac HM).

Washington:WR Jaydon Mickens (Rd 6-7, 6). OLB Travis Feeney (Rd 6-7, 6, Pac2nd)

at UCLA:RB**Paul Perkins (Rd 3-5, 3, Pac 2nd) noted for outside running. WR Jordan Payton (Rd 5-6, 6, Pac HM). OG Alex Redmond (Rd 6, 6). OT**Caleb Benenoch (Rd 3-7, 4). OC Jake Brendel (Rd 6-FA, 7, Pac 2nd). DT**Kenny Clark (Rd 1,1, Pac 1st) noted for strength. ILB**Myles Jack (Rd 1, 1) noted for tackling. OLB Aaron Wallace (Rd 6, 6). K Ka'imi Fairbairn (Rd 4-6, 5, Pac 2nd). 4 EEs brings up questions.

Notre Dame:RB** C.J. Prosise (Rd 3-5, 3). WR**Will Fuller (Rd 1-2, 2). WR Chris Brown (Rd 5-FA, 5). OT**Ronnie Stanley (Rd 1, 1) noted for trapping play.OC Nick Martin (Rd 2-3, 3) noted for intangibles. DE Romero Okwara (Rd 5-6, 5). DT Sheldon Day (Rd 2-4, 3) noted for intangibles. OLB Jaylon Smith (Rd 1, 1) noted for explosive play. CB Kelvarae Russell (Rd 2-4, 3). Lots of high rated talent lost.

Bottom Line: USC loses mainly Sua Cravens and Max Tuerk but Alabama , Stanford, UCLA and Notre Dame lose a carload.
