I can think of two across both levels of football, John Harbaugh and Dabo Swinney. There may be others that I'm forgetting, but both of them have been successful.. Why not look that route? Like find the school with the best ST over the past 5 years or an NFL ST coordinator and offer him the gig.. It seems like they'll be more inclined to manage and will have to hire a true OC and DC and let them run those units and be more of the CEO.. It almost seems like the better route to go..
