Willie and I were checking into the same hotel in Houston a few minutes ago, and it was me, him, and a couple of people wondering what we were talking about.
His former DL teammate is a friend and a former roommate of mine.
The most interesting thing he said (because he looks after the Poly kids) is that JuJu would be a bonafide Top 10 pick in the draft if focused just on being a Safety, but will just be a marginal receiver. He said a lot of "over selling" is going on around the McKay Center right now.
He's not the only one saying that to me as well.
I rarely speak about these things, but I found interesting to be speaking about this with a future NFL HOF'er, a Trojan, and someone I had tacos with at Carmel's with in 1992.
