The CIF-Southern Section basketball championship games will be played this Saturday at Honda Center, and USC will be represented by two future Trojans.
Bennie Boatwright led his Village Christian team to the Division 1AA title game with a 20-point, 17-rebound performance in a 58-44 semifinal win over Tustin last night.
Village Christian will play Great Oak of Temecula at 4 p.m. at Honda Center.
Fellow 2015 forward and USC signee Chimezie Metu scored 16 points to get Lawndale a 54-48 semifinal win over Elsinore. Metu and Lawndale will take on Canyon of Anaheim at 2 p.m. in the Division 2AA final on Saturday.
