Five-star QB commit Julian Lewis: 'I'm locked in' with USC

The No. 1-ranked prospect in the 2025 class has already taken two official visits to other programs and has another set to take place this weekend. Still, he doesn't view himself as anything other than a USC commit right now. I caught up with Julian Lewis at the Elite 11 last night to discuss the status of his pledge to the Trojans, the impact of his visits on the process overall and much more.

"I mean, people ask me all the time if I'm gonna flip, but I've been locked in for a while now. I'm pretty solidified with USC. If something changes, it changes but right now I'm locked in."

Muss and Co. on the road

I’m out at the big Section 7 basketball event in Arizona and was told USC had a big presence on the first night Friday. The Trojans went full staff for several recruits.

I’ll keep you guys updated with who USC’s coaches are watching as I see them today.

Ryan, We are getting pummeled, any deep insight you can share with us if the staff is showing any cracks or frustration

Ryan, every time I open up a notification it is horrible news. I get that no commitment is really secure until they sign (even that is no longer such a sure thing), but these constant decommits from top players on both sides of the line as well as guys canceling OV's and signing elsewhere is really discouraging. D-line, O-line, probably safety next and who knows about JuJu. Just feels like a house of cards ready to all come down. Any life line you can throw to us and share?

WATCH: 11 minutes of Julian Lewis in action on Day 1 at Elite 11

I shot the entirety of Julian Lewis' performance on Day 1 at Elite 11 on Tuesday night in Manhattan Beach. The USC quarterback commit put together a solid showing, and you can watch it all in the video below. Tonight is the "pro day" at the event, and it will be another opportunity for Lewis to back up his ranking as the No. 1 recruit in the class.
