Reportedly Enfield leaving with whole staff, Musselman rumored - would be a HR hire!

Musselman would be a great hire - Apparently WANTS to be here, applied in 2013. Has a college coaching record of 221-93 (.704). Look at his time at Arkansas (2 Elite Eights and a Sweet Sixteen in 5 years!). He has been an NBA head coach at Golden State and Sacramento. He has coached in the CBA/D-League/USBL and internationally. He has all kinds of experience that we could take advantage of. He has west coast ties, is a USD grad and has a son there. He takes surfing vacations out here, his wife Danyelle Sargent, a former on-air personality and anchor for ESPN, FOX Sports, and the NFL Network likes the west coast, it's got to be better for her career than living in Fayetteville, Arkansas. To me, he makes sense on all levels, if we can't give him a raise and an NIL budget to get us to the next level. Let's go Jen, make this happen!

Miller nails it!

I listened to Miller on another platform, and although the entire interview was great, the manner in which he replied to this question was terrific.

Interviewer: How has your life changed, in general, since the Holiday Bowl?

Miller: I mean, superficially, it's changed a lot. I don't think, like, a lot of that stuff is rooted in substance that truly matters at the end of the day. I mean, if your story can help inspire younger kids and make people happy watching you play and stuff like that, then that's absolutely a positive, but at the end of the day, we're focused on winning games. Um, it doesn't matter how many people recognize you or whatever it may be. All that stuff is nice, but we're focused on what we need to do to win games. So, my head and heart are in this facility. We're definitely focused on winning games and not so much on the other stuff.

Football Spring practice 4 — Tuesday

Heads up, tomorrow’s practice starts at 5:30 AM!!!

We will not have a photo gallery because it will be too dark to get good photos (we went through this in fall camp and it just doesn’t work.)

Lincoln Riley, Josh Henson and offensive players due to talk to us afterward. The hope is we get transfers for the first time.

With that, I’ll be heading to bed soon so I can be alive at 4:30 am.
