Jacobe Covington, the 4-star cornerback from Saguaro HS in Scottsdale, Ariz., just tweeted that he'll make an announcement of some sort today at 4 p.m.
Covington already put out a top 8 list in May, which excluded USC. But he told us in late June that the Trojans were very much back in play and that he was considering a visit. He did not make it to campus during the one week break in the NCAA recruiting dead period, so if he's announcing a commitment today it wouldn't seem to bode well for USC.
He's already taken official visits to Washington and Oklahoma.
