For the second time in a week, USC has been beat out for a coveted 4-star recruit by Washington.

Last week it was St. John Bosco HS cornerback Trent McDuffie, and on Tuesday night it was Jesuit HS (Carmichael, Calif.) WDE/OLB Laiatu Latu, who announced his decision on Twitter.

Latu took his official visit to Washington last weekend and the Huskies seemed to seize all the momentum from that final visit. Anyone looking at Latu's tweets over the past few days would not be surprised by his announcement.

Still, it's a disappointing loss for the Trojans, who are hoping to rally late in this recruiting cycle and are only in play for so many remaining 4 and 5-star prospects.
