(He's been committed to Arizona for a while).
Also, former DBs coach Ronnie Bradford had been his lead recruiter.
Well, I reached out to his coach today to confirm that I was reading the tea leaves correctly and that USC was no longer in play for him, and Knight coach Chance Tapia told me all he knew is Roland was going to announce his decision between Arizona and USC on Wednesday morning.
THEN, Roland tweeted this out ...
He followed up with a confirmation tweet that he's signing with a school on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.
I went up to Palmdale and visited with Roland last month when he received his Trojans offer. At that time, he said USC was his "dream school." Roland is ranked on Rivals as a 3-star WR, but USC is recruiting him as a DB and he says he can play both corner and safety.
