Notes and observations from today's practice ...
The team seemed to have a bit more life in it today. I felt like yesterday was a bit dull. It might just look that way because how much they've scaled back on contact. Either way, there was more of a buzz this afternoon. More competitive team periods.
11-on-11:
Anthony Sarao opens things up with a tackle in the backfield.
Aca'Cedric Ware makes a nice cutback and picks up a nice chunk. He makes the most of his reps.
Max Browne hits Deontay Burnett outside. Burnett's route-running is already above average. Just a very natural receiver.
Browne goes back outside, this time to Jalen Greene.

Cody Kessler hits Steven Mitchell Jr. on a deep out.
Kessler escapes some pressure from Don Hill and throws it away.
Kessler goes deep to Mitchell.
Dominic Davis runs off tackle for a first down.

Kessler takes a coverage sack.
Burnett makes a one-hand grab near the sideline and manages to get a foot down in bounds.
Kessler throws a deep sideline pass to Dom Davis, who hauls it in for a TD amid blanket coverage from Scott Felix. Davis, as we've noted before, is very comfortable as a receiver. Was a bit surprised to see Kessler attempt that pass.

Adoree' Jackson holds Mitchell to a very short gain on a quick pass.
Adoree' sniffs out a trick play and records a tackle for loss.
Adoree' blocks a field goal.
Chris Hawkins records an INT on a fake field goal.
