I get the feeling that we will lose a bunch of talent on the defense. I know it’s not elite talent but it’s the best we got. I think Jaylin Smith will hurt the most. We lose our entire secondary, LB’s , but we return a lot of the DL. Again I know it’s not elite talent but concerned the talent level will drop. Even though I think recruiting is getting better with the last 3 classes (including this one). I like the depth at DT but we just don’t have that “dog” yet. I don’t expect Raseon Davis or Gentry to return. It will be interesting to see how many TP players are added or do they roll the dice with recruited players.
On offense I like how the OL played but losing LG/C will be huge to replace. Do we add a TP RB? Do we lose 1 or 2 of the WR’s (Branch/Robinson). I can see us overachieving next yr if the OL improves but I don’t see next yrs team to be much better. Even though it’s not elite recruiting we are getting better depth.
