News updates from today's practice...
LB Michael Hutchings (calf) was dressed but spent most of practice watching drills. He was walking around with a limp and had a sleeve on his right leg. Helton said Wednesday Hutchings had a tight calf and was expected to be back within a day or two. Jordan Iosefa took first team reps in his absence.
RB Justin Davis did not have his helmet and spent practice watching alongside Aca'Cedric Ware.
RB Ware was at practice but did not dress again. However, he's no longer in a walking boot and is only wearing a brace on his left ankle. RB Dominic Davis took the second team reps with Ware out. Helton said he talked with Davis over the week to reassure him his time will come after not getting any touches last week and now that he may have an increased role, he is confident in Davis' ability.
Helton says both Justin Davis and Ware will be fighting each day to be ready and are still questionable for Saturday's game.
CB Jonathan Lockett is out for Saturday's game.
Helton said he expects it to be a shootout this weekend and told Tee Martin to be prepared for 4th down situations.
