Here's the immediate news. Full report and videos upcoming, as usual ...

-LB Palaie Gaoteote (ankle) was in a boot and is very doubtful to play. Doesn't sound like there's much chance.
-NK Greg Johnson (shoulder) is out.
-CB Isaac Taylor-Stuart (high-ankle sprain) was also in a boot and is status is TBD. Can't imagine he recovers enough to play this week if its a high-ankle sprain, though he did finish the game out Saturday.
-CB Olaijah Griffin (bulging disc) is going to be evaluated through the week. He did not practice Tuesday.

-Kana'i Mauga is next in line to take Gaoteote's snaps, Helton said, while also noting that Ralen Goforth could get some action with John Houston moving to WLB.
-WR Kyle Ford, TE Ethan Rae and OLB Eli'jah Winston practiced in team periods. Ford and Rae, of course, have been working their way back from ACLs.
-Helton said he submitted multiple plays to the Pac-12 for review but wouldn't comment any further.
-We had a good talk with Graham Harrell about pace and why they aren't running the 80-90 plays that were talked about in the preseason. He also seems genuinely frustrated by the looks they're getting defensively. Will have a full story on all of that either tonight or in the morning.
-Main story tonight will be about the RB situation.
