I can't take any more of this! This season is putting me through the wringer. This team is everything from baffling to thrilling to excruciating to inspirational, and that's every game. How the hell are we 6-1??? How many big-time gut checks can one team have in a season? I just can't believe it!
At this point, I have no more illusions about immaculate performances, about national championships, and about Heisman trophies. The only thing that I can expect is that this group of players will gut through a close fourth quarter, and more likely than not, they will prevail.
I was a healthy individual before the season, and now I have developed a definite case of heart arrhythmia. This F'ing team--they will be the end of me, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
