With the recent news about Kyle Ford entering the transfer portal, I had to stop and wonder and realize how delicate this fine line is in recruiting. As we all know offense is not our problem yet we have gotten players out of the portal that has made that room very crowded and lead to really good players leaving. Case in point just this last week are CJ WIlliams and now Kyle Ford. Both really good players so losing them is tough but looking at this more big picture, what will it do to our high school recruiting and local pipelines that have this amazing talent pool. I understand more the need to dip into the portal right now for defensive help but offense, especially wide receiver I feel may come back to bite us. Any opinions from others on this, and please, I don't want to hear afraid to compete and comments like that because that is the furthest from the truth, especially with what all Kyle Ford went thru and still came back and competed admirably.
