A potential second running back from the Class of 2019 is officially in play. Sources tell me USC is hosting 4-star prospect Darwin Barlow on an official visit this weekend.
Barlow, who I wrote about earlier this week, is committed to TCU but declined to sign with the Horned Frogs in the early signing period. The Trojans offered Barlow in August, just a week after his pledge.
Barlow, I’m told, is USC’s lone official visitor this weekend. While this won’t be an easy pull for the Trojans, there’s a chance Barlow is already familiar with new running backs coach Mike Jinks, who’s spent nearly his entire coaching career in Texas.
