Redshirt junior wide receiver Velus Jones has not been involved with the team as it returned from spring break. My feeling all along has been that if he was going to participate in spring practice, now would be a soft deadline. There's still the chance that he isn't enchanted by his options while sitting in the transfer portal and stays at USC once he graduates in the spring. But the longer he's away from the team, the less likely it is that he rejoins it.
