It has been reported or speculated elsewhere that 2-star offensive guard signee Tilini Livai may not be enrolling at USC after all. For what it’s worth, I did speak to him today over Twitter and he claims he IS enrolling in June, as planned.
“I’m still planning on enrolling to USC,” he said.
I followed up by asking if he was still planning to arrive in June?
“Yes,” he said.
So take that how you want.
We have heard that there might be two signees who may not be eligible, though we don’t have names to report. But as reported on the Chris Steele thread, we do know at least one spot is definitely expected open one way or another and more clarity should come this week.
As for Livai, he spent the fall at nearby Narbonne HS, but he has since returned home to Hawaii to be with family before starting college. I can’t confirm his eligibility is in the clear — only relaying what he told me.
