The winner of the last College game of the 2017 season as….winner of the SEC….these guys didn’t resolve it in the regular season. In fact the two teams Georgia and Alabama met only once in SEC playoffs in the last 10 plus years and that was 2012. And in fact they met only once in the regular season, and that was in 2015 in the same time frame. That’s 1 in the last 9, and 5 more years to go until the next meeting in the regular season. Wow, no wonder the selection committee was so hyped up to have this game.
The 4 team playoffs always shafts someone….last year it was PSU and others. This year it was Ohio State and UCF. Yes, the University of Southern Florida that was this year's ONLY undefeated major team. UCF beat Auburn, who handily beat both of the teams (Georgia won the replay) that play for the mythical title tonight. Football is the only major NCAA sport that does not have a real playoff system. Its a shame.
